My third graders loved this lesson were they were able to
work in small groups comparing elevation levels within
their textbooks and recreating them using various felt cut
outs labeled with correlating elevations. Some groups
marveled at the idea of certain mountain ranges being so
incredibly high in comparison to smaller ranges.
